Darlington – Nov 16 – Dr. Homer B. Strain, 61 of Linden died at 4 p.m. at the Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville of complications after an illness of two months. Dr. Strain was born in Montgomery County and had attended the Illinois University Dental Surgery school.  He had practiced in Linden for the past 15 years.  Dr. Strain was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Eilliam (William?) Tyson, Colfax. The body was taken to the Brainard, Butler and Russell funeral home. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brainard; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
